CHRISTMAS GLASS PAINTING: KIDS ACTIVITY

1.30pm – 3pm for 8 – 11 years

Take some inspiration from the patterns and shapes in Staircase House to create a colourful glass jar that you can use as a candle holder or a vase.

CHRISTMAS GARLAND WORKSHOP - FOR ADULTS ONLY
Tuesday 9 December
10am - 2.45pm

Come and take part in this festive workshop in which our professional florist will teach you the art of making a Christmas garland. Use you new found skills to decorate the unique 17th century cage newel staircase in the house and create your own exquisite table centre-piece to take home.

Price: £15.50 per person.
Tea and coffee provided and 45 minutes is allocated for lunch, however food will not be provided

Step back in time and experience the magic of Christmas at Staircase House, as we open the doors for this special yuletide event.

Tantalise your taste-buds with plum pudding, mulled wine and mince pies as you learn more about traditional Christmas cookery; whilst medieval melodies and carol singing will provide a festive feast for the ears!

There’ll be candle rolling, pomanders and paper-chain activities for anyone wanting hands-on festive fun. Or sit back and relax as our 19th century storyteller narrates ‘The Night Before Christmas’.

A perfect afternoon for all the family to enjoy some Christmas cheer!
